This Livonia, Michigan project features a custom StruXure pergola system designed to create a comfortable, protected outdoor space that can be enjoyed well beyond the typical season. Built by Skyview Detroit, the roof-mounted pergola integrates seamlessly with the home while transforming the patio into a more functional and versatile living area.
By combining motorized louvers with MagnaTrack solar screens and Bromic radiant heaters, the homeowners now have complete control over their environment. Whether blocking the sun, cutting down wind, or adding warmth on cooler days, the space can be adjusted to stay comfortable throughout much of the year.

This project features a custom StruXure louvered pergola mounted directly to the home, creating a clean, integrated structure over the patio. Paired with MagnaTrack solar screens and Bromic radiant heaters, the system allows the homeowners to manage sunlight, airflow, and temperature — dramatically increasing how often the space can be used.

StruXure Pergolas
At the center of this project is a custom StruXure louvered pergola, providing adjustable shade and protection from the elements. The motorized louvers allow the homeowners to easily control sunlight and airflow, creating a more comfortable environment throughout the day.
MagnaTrack Screens
Motorized MagnaTrack screens were installed around the perimeter of the pergola, adding protection from sun, wind, and insects. These screens help create a more enclosed, controlled space without sacrificing visibility or airflow.
