Filled with light.

This Ann Arbor, Michigan project features a custom-designed Edwardian-style glass conservatory, seamlessly integrated into the back of the home during a full kitchen remodel. The homeowners wanted to expand their living space and create a natural connection between the indoors and outdoors. To make that possible, the Skyview team removed an entire exterior wall of the home and engineered a fully enclosed, energy-efficient structure that now flows directly from the kitchen. The result is a bright, open space filled with natural light, offering a comfortable environment the family can enjoy year-round.
A stunning glass extension built for year-round living.
This project features a custom Edwardian-style glass conservatory designed and built as a full extension of the home. By removing the existing exterior wall, the new space connects directly to the kitchen, creating a bright, open environment that is fully insulated and energy efficient for comfortable use in every season.
Expand the home with light, space, and connection.
As part of a kitchen remodel, the homeowners wanted to create a more open and connected living space. They envisioned a room filled with natural light that would extend beyond the traditional footprint of the home. The goal was not just to add square footage, but to create a space that felt intentional, comfortable, and fully integrated with the existing structure.

“We were already remodeling our kitchen and wanted to take it a step further by adding a space that brought in more light and gave us room to gather as a family.”
— Donovans, Homeowner

LivingSpace Sunrooms Glass Conservatory
This project features a custom-designed Edwardian-style glass conservatory, engineered for both beauty and performance. The structure is fully insulated and energy efficient, allowing the homeowners to enjoy the space year-round. With expansive glass panels and a classic roof design, the conservatory brings in natural light while maintaining comfort and durability in all seasons.
“By opening up the wall and adding the conservatory, we created a space that feels brighter, larger, and more connected.”
— Trevor Calero, Skyview Detroit Owner & CEO
The biggest impact of this project is how it changes the way the home feels and functions. The new conservatory brings in an incredible amount of natural light while creating a smooth transition from the kitchen into a dedicated living space. It’s no longer just an addition, it feels like a natural part of the home that enhances everyday life.
“Skyview Detroit really understood what we were trying to accomplish. They guided us through the design, handled the structural work, and delivered a finished space that feels like it has always been part of our home.”
— Donovans, Homeowner
