Welcome to the Rogers Residence. From concept to completion, this project represents the full spectrum of outdoor living possibilities from Skyview Detroit. Start exploring the space and get inspired for your project.
The first thing you will notice about this project? The sheer magnitude of outdoor living space.
An XL StruXure Pergola System creates the centerpiece and foundation of the space at 450 square feet. This customized pergola was also connected to a covered patio area and fitted with a full-scale MagnaTrack Solar Screen System.
An ultra-luxe outdoor living sanctuary that matched the home’s existing architecture and invited natural light.
The space had to feel modern and simple. Usable and functional. Premium and bespoke. And for an additional challenge, it needed to be ready for year-round use. Think of a beautiful, expansive outdoor living room that can easily accommodate a neighborhood barbeque in July — or a holiday party in December.

StruXure Pergolas
The XL StruXure Pergola System used for this project features motorized louvers for sunlight at the push of a button. But that’s only the beginning of its capabilities. The epic system was built in three zones and engineered with large gutters and columns. Why? Because the StruXure pergola is tied to the home’s fascia, requiring it to handle excess water runoff from the existing residence. Only Skyview Detroit could achieve the complex engineering and style requirements without remodeling the home.
MagnaTrack Screens
A MagnaTrack Solar Screen System was installed to enclose the pergola. These screens are also motorized and crafted to block harmful UV rays while retaining warmth in the year-round space. And speaking of heat, eight premium Bromic heaters were added to ensure that outdoor living is possible even in the chilliest Michigan weather.
